The HealedShop Data Project
At The HealedShop (THS), we believe that data is the key to change. This is why we created The HealedShop Data Project – our flagship initiative, using online surveys to collect real, anonymous data on CSA in Nigeria. The findings help shape awareness campaigns, intervention strategies and inform policies to protect children.
What we do
✔ Develop ethical, anonymous, and culturally relevant surveys to capture real experiences.
✔ Analyse trends, risk factors, and root causes of CSA across different regions.
✔ Provide reliable data to influence child protection interventions and awareness.
✔ Inform advocacy and awareness campaigns to break the silence surrounding CSA.
✔ Work with schools, NGOs, and government agencies to implement prevention and intervention strategies.
By collecting real, verifiable data, we ensure that CSA is no longer an invisible crisis but a well-documented issue that demands urgent action.
Why is Data Important in the Fight Against CSA?
Without accurate data, CSA remains hidden, and we lack the necessary insights to create interventions and awareness campaigns. The HealedShop Data Project ensures that:
🔹 CSA cases are properly documented
🔹 Advocacy efforts are backed by evidence, leading to stronger child protection interventions and awareness campaigns.
🔹 Survivors’ voices are heard, shifting public perception and reducing stigma.
How We Collect Data
Our approach prioritizes confidentiality, sensitivity, and ethical research standards to ensure the safety and accuracy of our findings. We use:
📊 Online & Offline Surveys – Conducting anonymous surveys to collect real experiences.
📌 Community Engagement – Partnering with schools
All data collected is carefully analysed to identify patterns, trends, and areas requiring urgent intervention.
